Climbing, moving hand over hand and whiling away your time in Førde
A school competition produces a climbing play area
In the Norwegian town of Førde, ideas generated by school students have been translated into the perfect playground, which is proving a huge success
Each module in HUCK’s climbing area encourages different skills such as coordination, strength and balance. Children can give free rein to their desire to climb on the large rope pyramid. Different rope bridges in the park nurture equilibrium and a sense of balance. Alongside the different shaped rope constructions in various colours, children also have a place up high to sit, various hand-over-hand ropes and hammocks.
